Abstract

|
A case of metastatic malignant melanoma lodged in the seat of 15 years of preexisting goitrous thyroid lesion in a 44-year-old Korean female was presented and followed by brief review of references to cases in ´which metastatic growth in the thyroid exhibited some noteworthy, pecurity, as with the special relationship to other pathological conditions of the thyroid gland. The authors assume that this present case was the first published one, in this country, of metastatic growth in the pre-existing thyroid abnormalities concerning that pathological conditions mentioned above.
